We only employ staff that has a license or certification for their area of expertise. In addition, before any new employee is allowed to perform services on a client, we conduct intensive training in every service they will be performing and the products we use. Our spa therapist certification program assures that staff conforms to The Brass Rose procedures, protocols, and standards.


We consider it our responsibility to provide the safest services in the most hygienic facility. We practice hospital grade sanitation and sterilization techniques. We sterilize our implements in a piece of hospital equipment called an autoclave. We never re-use disposable implements like nail files.


We are committed to quality guest services. If you have any questions or concerns about the services or treatments you received or are not completely satisfied with the attention or level of service you received from any member of our staff, please speak with our manager before you leave the spa. We also appreciate your positive comments with respect to your Spa or Salon experience, or about a particular staff member. Just tell our desk staff, and they will forward your comments to our owner.



We have a written procedure and policy for every service we perform which assures consistent quality and that every therapist performs the treatment in the same way. All services, therapies and treatments follow tested and verified protocols and standards for the industry.

 


All of our spa services, with the exception of our manicures, are performed in private treatment rooms. Some body treatments require a shower after the mask or wrap. The private shower is right in the room.

During spa services, clients are completely covered with a sheet or blanket. Only the area being worked on is left exposed. The coverings are put back as the therapist moves on to another area of attention. Disposable undergarments are available for body treatments.

 


First time clients will be asked to complete a simple medical information form. Certain medical conditions, medications, allergies or sensitivities may require that we modify or customize a spa service. Pregnancy, high blood pressure, heart disease, or the use of Retin-A are a few examples of conditions that require special attention or modification of a spa service or indicate that we shouldn't do the service at all.



 

 



Please arrive, at least, 15-20 minutes before your first service is scheduled to begin.

 

Group guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes before the first service is scheduled to begin.

 


If you arrive 15 minutes or more beyond the time the first service was scheduled to begin , depending upon the service to be performed, we may have to modify or completely eliminate your first service. If a service must be eliminated, we reserve the right to charge a $25 cancellation fee.


Appointments for 1 service require a 1 working day notice.

Multiple service appointments require 2 working days notice

Group appointments require 5 working days notice.

Bridal services require 2 months notice.

Same day or night before cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to charge a $25 per service cancellation fee if proper cancellation notice is not given.

 


All quoted service durations are approximate . Some services may vary by 10-15 minutes , depending upon the therapist performing the service, the condition of your skin, or other customization of the service.

 

Some appointments are subject to a deposit fee. Deposits are non-refundable.

 


For legal and insurance reasons we cannot permit children in the spa or salon. Children under age 12, not receiving services, are prohibited from any area of the hair salon, spa, reception area or spa lounge. We can neither assure their safety nor can we provide our undivided attention to client needs. In addition, most spa clients consider children to be an intrusion into their spa experience. Children age 12-17 may receive appropriate services when accompanied by an adult during the entire service. Children under age 12 may only be booked after approval by management.

 


Please inform us if you might be pregnant. Some spa services are not appropriate or safe if you are less than 12 weeks pregnant. In addition, some medical conditions, medications, or allergies may require that we modify or eliminate certain spa services.

 


All identifying and medical information is used for the sole purpose of making contact with the client and modification of spa services where clinically indicated. Under no circumstances is client information released or transferred to any other person, entity or business.

 


All jewelry must be removed for most spa services. Please leave your valuables and jewelry at home. Although we provide lockers with keys, we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to your valuables .

 


We will provide a spa gown, robe and slippers for women. Male clientele will be provided with spa shorts, robe and slippers. We have a wide range of spa attire to fit any size. Disposable undergarments are available, if requested.

 


The spa lounging area is a quiet sanctuary for our guests . Your spa services have been coordinated to allow lounging time in between services so that you may relax and unwind at a spa pace. Lounging time is also perfect for socializing and bonding with your spa partners. Free snacks and beverages are available in the lounge.

 


Cell phones are prohibited in the spa and salon. Please respect the peace and serenity of your fellow spa guests.

In case of emergencies, our staff will make a phone available to you.

 


When you book your appointment, you may wish to order a spa lunch for an additional charge of $15.

 

Gratuities are not included in the price of the service. For your convenience, at check out, our desk staff will provide gratuity envelopes, which we will distribute to your therapists on your behalf. Customary gratuities are 15% - 20% of the published price of the service.

 


The Brass Rose is gender friendly for both men and women. Men may book services for any time. However, we do not co-mingle men and women in the upstairs portion of the spa. Men are booked on the lower level of the spa.

 


One Sunday a month, we open the entire spa for couples. A perfect opportunity to relax together in a serene environment.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express credit cards. Personal checks will be accepted, with 2 forms of identification. We also accept Brass Rose Gift Certificates, Spa Finder Gift Certificates, and American Express Gift Checks. We do not issue cash refunds for remaining balances on gift certificates or gift checks.

 


Please call the spa before you leave home in order to receive information regarding late opening, closings, local weather or local travel conditions.
